When it comes to upgrading your car, few changes make a bigger difference than new wheels. But not all wheels are created equal. While cast and flow-formed wheels are common in the market—and even used by many OEM car brands—forged wheels stand at the top for performance, strength, and precision.

At AWT Forged Wheels, every set begins as a solid block of aerospace-grade aluminum and is transformed into a masterpiece of engineering and design.

Step 1: From Concept to 3D Design

Every wheel begins with a concept. Our designers use advanced CAD software to model each curve, spoke, and surface—balancing style, aerodynamics, and strength.

This digital 3D design allows us to simulate how the wheel will handle cornering loads, heat, and stress, long before the first piece of metal is forged.

Step 2: Forging – Where Strength Is Born

This intense pressure aligns the metal’s grain structure, making the wheel denser, stronger, and more impact-resistant. It’s the same process used in aerospace components—because failure is not an option.

Step 3: Precision CNC Machining

Once forged, the raw blank moves to CNC machines where it’s sculpted to perfection. Every cut, every contour, every bolt hole is carved with micron-level precision.

This step defines the final weight and design of the wheel. The result? A lightweight performance wheel that reduces rotational mass, improves acceleration, and enhances handling.

Step 4: Finishing and Quality Control

After machining, each wheel undergoes finishing—brushing, polishing, coating, or anodizing—to achieve the desired look. Then, every AWT wheel is tested for balance, run-out, and structural integrity.
